Cyanogenmod 7 Nightlies baking up, and it's starting to smell really good.

You heard me right. In case you've been living under a rock or you just haven't been paying attention, the Gingerbread-based Cyanogenmod 7 ROM 's are starting to finally cook up.
Now me personally am very happy with the Nightlies. Heck, their so stable, I use them as my day-to-day drivers.
Seriously, if you haven't at least checked them out, even once, I will hurt you (well, maybe not). Go check them out right now and see how they are! You won't be disappointed by the progress being made thus far.

CyanogenMod 7 coming soon?

Well, it seems to me that Cyanogen has been pretty busy. At least that's what he's been hinting at for the past week. From the various posts he's been posting on his Twitter, to some of the comments he's been leaving on various forums, it's beginning to seem like a Gingerbread version of the immensely popular CyanogenMod is on the way. Here's to hoping for CM7 soon.

SMBC Version 1.2 released, and yes, shooting a Koopa with a tank is awesome.

Jay Pavlina has finally released version 1.2 of his hit game, Super Mario Bros. Crossover. The update brings a number of improvements, but the addition of Sophia III (the tank from Blaster Master) easily trumps all. The tank controls just like she does in the original game, with very few additions added to make playing as the iconic tank feel natural. The update also adds missiles to Samus's arsenal of weapons. All missiles in the game (Sophia III has her homing missiles) can kill any enemy, including Bullet Bills and Buzzy Beetles. The update also adds a survival mode where you must ration your 1-ups and dish them out to your characters. If that character has no lives given to them, you must wait till you get more so you can revive them.
There are many more things delivered in this revival of the game, so if you want to see them all, or play the game, click here.

Most major bugs out of SMBC

Well, as you can plainly see above, Mr. Pavlina has managed to get most of the bugs out of Super Mario Bros. Crossover in preparation for its release, which I'm definitely hoping it comes sooner rather than later.
Now I know i'm absolutely psyched to play this game. How about you guys? What do you think?

Super Mario Bros. Crossover 1.2 to be released soon

It looks like we'll finally get to see version 1.2 of Super Mario Bros. Crossover sometime next week, according to @ExplodingRabbit via Twitter (that's the creator of the game). As of now, there are only 15 or so bugs left for him to fix, which is a good sign. The update will bring a new character, Sophia III (the tank from Blaster Master), missiles to Samus, and a new game mode which is promised to be like how the creator originally intended the game to be played.
I know i'm excited, but what about you? Have you ever played? You ever beat Extreme mode? Who's your favorite character? Do I ask too many questions? Let me know in the comments!

Minimum processor speed for Gingerbread? Heh! No!

Divert your attention to that bottom post. Yep, that's right, Gingerbread will most likely not have a minimum processor speed. I for one am relieved, now I just might be able to have some sweet tasty Gingerbread on my MyTouch Slide. Maybe Cyanogen could deliver the baked goods. Keep in mind, this is no official word from Google themselves, but it gives a good idea of whats to come.
What do you guys think? You hoping for some Gingerbread on your phone? Let me know in the comments!
